#InItTogether Wednesday

Sometimes we need to take some time to learn (or remember) coping skills and to have someone’s undivided and unbiased attention while we work through what it all means. Our national network provides short term counselling free of charge to anyone affected by cancer.  The counsellors and complementary therapists throughout our network are all fully qualified and members of their professional bodies.  #InItTogether # Cara Cancer Support Centre

The use of creative arts as a form of therapy works wonders in many people’s lives. It can help someone express themselves, explore their emotions and improve their self-confidence and self-esteem. And the results are beautiful!  #InItTogether # Cara Cancer Support Centre

A New Chapter for Cara

On Saturday 20th January the keys of 3 & 4 Williamson’s Place were handed over to Donal McGivern, Chairperson of Cara in the company of the Cara Committee members. Once the building has been renovated it will become the new home for Cara Cancer Support Centre. As the numbers attending the centre have grown since its opening, so have the requirements for more space and we hope that our new home will enable us to meet all these needs.

We would like to express our sincere thank you to everyone who has fundraised, made donations and/or helped in any way to make the purchase of 3 & 4 Williamsons Place a reality.

Thank You Allopening the door
